Leave it to the over-sexed French: A start-up in France is developing a vibrator that syncs to your smartphone or tablet to allow you to “succumb to the pleasure of erotic literature” via Bluetooth connection. “The app lets you choose a new erotic story or ‘vibrant’ to read and lets you control and play with words by shaking, caressing, or breathing on your device’s screen,” according to an article in The Daily Dot.
Through an app, text triggers are transmitted to the sex toy, named “The Little Bird,” which vibrates relative to the story’s intensity.
“Although the sex-toy-and-app combo is primarily designed to elevate your erotic literature experience, you can do away with reading altogether and just use the Little Bird as a traditional remote-controlled vibrator,” the article said. “You can even get a partner involved and have them control the sex toy’s responses.”
The entirely new twist on erotica is yet to be mass-produced. And, so far, the only erotica that it syncs with is in French. But don’t despair. The plan is to expand to other languages.
Of course, the article (or the developer of the new product) fail to note that with really good erotica, you don’t need electromechanical enhancement. The brain is the biggest sex organ, remember?
In the interest of science, however, I would be glad to test a prototype. English only, though. My high school French is a bit rusty.
